If you know you are transferring to a particular university you should plan your course selection according to the requirements of the institution that will issue your degree. The process of determining credit transferability begins with the application process. The second most important rule is to be sure that you have official transcripts sent to UNL from all of your former institutions. If you are currently enrolled at another institution you should request that a transcript be sent at the time you make application to the University, as well as forwarding a final transcript verifying completion of any course work that may have been in progress at the time you submitted your application.
