Each year, approximately ten incoming freshman are awarded a $1,000 renewable scholarship from the College of Business Administration. To be considered for one of the Forrest C. Blood scholarships, you must:
A separate application is not required. As with University scholarships, by applying for admission and submitting complete admissions materials, you are automatically considered for the Forrest C. Blood Scholarship. Freshman Blood Scholarships are renewable for $1000 a year when the Blood scholar remains a full-time student in CBA, maintains a grade point average of 3.5 or higher, is making satisfactory progress toward a degree within the College of Business and completes the CBA General Upper-Class Scholarship Application each year at http://www.cba.unl.edu/current/scholarships. Another scholarship opportunity, created for high-ability students, is the J.D. Edwards Honors Program in Computer Science and Management. This program is designed for students with proven leadership skills and technical aptitude. Scholarships offered through this program cover tuition, room and board, textbooks, and are renewable with demonstrated academic success.
