Compensation & Eligibility

Intern Compensation

Students hired as interns will receive a stipend for their internship service to cover tuition costs and other expenses at a minimum of $900 (traditional for-profit organization) or $500 (not-for-profit organization). Students must pay tuition for the number of credit hours taken and will receive the one-time stipend payment after the internship hours are completed. The stipend payment is funded by the host organization and may exceed the minimum per their discretion.

Student Eligibility

  1. Must be Junior, Senior, or Graduate status.
  2. Minimum 2.5 GPA.
  3. Applicants must demonstrate genuine interest in entrepreneurship and potential for future entrepreneurial leadership.

Host Organization Eligibility

  1. Maximum of 50 employees
  2. Ability to demonstrate how the internship will specifically contribute to the student's entrepreneurial education. This may be achieved either by direct exposure to entrepreneurs within the organization or through the project assigned to the intern (i.e. development of a business plan).
