2004 Northern Region Student Entrepreneur Award Winners

Competitors in the Northern Plains Student Entrepreneur Award competition are not typical college students. In addition to worrying about papers, tests, and weekend plans, each competitor also juggles the responsibilities of owning a business. This spring, they were rewarded for their dedication to being both full-time undergraduate students and small business owners.

On May 5, the winners of the 2004 Northern Plains regional competition were announced. Dustin Lindahl took first place, winning $2,000 and a chance to compete for $10,000 in the 2004 Global Student Entrepreneurâ„¢ Awards held at the Collegiate Entrepreneur Organization (CEO) Conference in Chicago. The conference will be held in November. Megan Wettach was named second place and took home $1,500. Mike Corkle received $500 for third place. Honorable Mentions were awarded to Seth Konkel, Matt Sherman, and Brett Nunnenkamp.
