The city of Poitiers is inhabited by more than 30,000 students who make this small capital a lively place. The ESCEM School of Business and Management campus is located at the very center of the city, in a magnificent 18th century building. The campus is close to shops and only five minutes away from the railway station. The campus covers a beautiful area of almost 4,000 square meters with 500 students occupying its vicinity. Most intriguing is the fact that the city of Paris is just a short 90 minute trip away from Poitiers.
Housing accommodations may be made yourself or with the assistance of ESCEM and the International Exchanges Service. Students will find that there are a number of housing choices, ranging from residence halls to private studios. The majority of rooms are fully furnished.
The ESCEM fall program will run from September to December, including a holiday break in early November and a week of final exams in December. The spring program will run from January to May, with breaks in February and April and a week of final exams in May.
The 2004-2005 costs for Nebraska residents are $3,276 per semester and $6,283 per academic year. The 2004-2005 costs for nonresidents are $7,396 per semester and $14,522 per academic year. This includes tuition, fees, and insurance. Not included are room and board (about $2,500 per semester), airfare, books and supplies, personal expenses.

Any UNL undergraduate or graduate student in good academic standing is eligible to participate in the program at ESCEM. Serious students who will adapt readily to the local culture and who will benefit from living in a foreign country will be those selected for the exchange.
The fall semester deadline for application is March 1. You must include in the application: Form A (biography data), Form B (statement of purpose), two Form C (academic reference), Form E (proposed plan of study), and an official UNL transcript. Late applications will be accepted after the deadline only if space is available.
