Identity theft is a potential problem on campus, for both employees and students, due to the increasing number of people responding to phishing scams, credit card fraud, etc. During the past year, about twenty reports have been made of various types of fraud on campus that have the potential to lead to identity theft. Despite this, the Federal Credit Union has not yet had any reports of identity theft on campus.
