The Instructional Support team provides leadership, instructional materials and support services with regard to the integration of technology into the curriculum. We offer training and support services for:

Blackboard for Instructors Tuesday, August 18th, 2009 10:00 am - 12:00 pm CBA 33

Join us as we explore the Blackboard 9 Learning Management System. Blackboard allows you to give your students access to your course content 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It also allows you to communicate via email with your students, track how often students access your course, and so much more. And it's so easy! This session covers designing and setting up your course, adding content, creating electronic assignments, introduction to the gradebook, and other main features of Blackboard to get you started. NOTE: This session will use Blackboard v9 which UNL will be upgrading to for the Fall 2009 semester.

Blackboard Part 2 for Instructors Thursday, August 20th, 2009 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm CBA 33

Want to know more about the powerful features of Blackboard? Create surveys and tests that Blackboard not only grades for you but posts the grades to the gradebook. Assign your students to groups with their own collaboration tools. Create calculated columns in the Grade Center. This session will cover working with groups, creating surveys and tests, working with groups, and using advanced features of the Grade Center. NOTE: This session will use Blackboard v9 which UNL will be upgrading to for the Fall 2009 semester.
