Scott Swenseth is an associate professor of Management at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and holds a doctorate in Operations Management and Logistics from Texas A&M University. He joined the faculty of UNL in 1987, and teaches courses in operations and information systems management and computer-aided decision making. He has previously taught courses in marketing and human resource management.
Dr. Swenseth conducts research on the implementation of alternative operations management strategies and techniques, the effects of such implementations on other functional areas of organizations, and improved decision-making practices. His works have been published in the International Journal of Production Research, International Journal of Operations and Production Management, Journal of the Operational Research Society, European Journal of Operations Research, and Journal of Business Logistics, among others. He is a member of the Decision Sciences Institute and the Production and Operations Management Society.
