Kurt Halvorson
Kurt Halvorson is the former Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer for Ameritrade. He is currently running his own financial services industry consulting practice. At Ameritrade, Mr. Halvorson led corporate communications, facilities, human resources, and administered corporate audit. In addition, he oversaw the communication and coordination of the Executive Management Team. Mr. Halvorson joined Ameritrade in 1987 and was formerly the president of Advanced Clearing, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Ameritrade Holding Corporation, which provides clearing services to Ameritrade's retail business as well as providing fully disclosed clearing services to correspondent brokers. Prior to joining Ameritrade, he was with Deloitte, Haskins & Sells (now Deloitte & Touche). Mr. Halvorson, a certified public accountant, holds a B.S.B.A. from the University of Nebraska (1983) and is a graduate of the Securities Industry Institute at the Wharton School.
