JoAnn Martin

JoAnn Martin has been the President and Chief Executive Office of Ameritas Life Insurance Corp. since June of 2005. Since joining Ameritas in 1984, Ms. Martin has become a member of many of the company’s subsidiary boards and has been actively involved in the insurance industry, professional accounting organizations and University of Nebraska organizations. Currently Ms. Martin serves on the board of St. Elizabeth Community Health Center, the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, National Research Corp., Wells Fargo-Nebraska Advisory Board, and Health Charities Leadership Council. She is also past president of the Nebraska Society of CPAs Foundation and past treasurer of the Nebraska Council on Economic Education Board. Additionally, she serves on the committees for ACLI and LIMRA, both insurance organizations. Ms. Martin graduated in 1975 with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska and earned a MBA from Colorado State University in 1982.
