Dean Van Loon

Dean Van Loon is vice president - operations at State Farm Insurance Companies, Lincoln, Nebraska. He started his career in Bloomington, Illinois at our Corporate Headquarters in 1982 in the Life Systems organization. Subsequent positions in State Farm included data processing, Assistant Division Manager in Claims and Underwriting, and Claims Assistant Division Manager. Dean opened the Customer Response Center in Woodbury, Minnesota and moved into an Assistant Vice President’s position in the Customer Response Center, Corporate Headquarters. Prior to coming to Lincoln, Dean was Vice President of Operations in the Life consolidation effort.

A graduate of Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Dean has also earned his Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) designation.

Dean currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Lincoln Public Schools Foundation and the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce.
